AmandaDR. AMANDA R AMORIM ADEGBOYE

She completed her first degree in Human Nutrition at Rio de Janeiro
State University in Brazil. In 2001, she did a professional training in nutrition and infectious diseases at Evandro Chagas Hospital/ Research Centre in Brazil. She holds a MSc and PhD degree in Epidemiology. She did an exchange PhD programme in Sweden (Obesity Unit at Karolinska Institute). From 2007 to 2013, she worked as a research fellow and guest lecturer at Institute of Preventive Medicine in Denmark. She is a member of the European Nutrition Leadership Platform (ENLP). She has a strong background on quantitative data analysis and systematic reviews. Nowadays she is a Senior Lecturer in International Public Health & Nutrition at University of Westmisnter, London.Rumy Begum DR. RUMI BEGUM

In 1997 she began her BSc in Biological Sciences – University of Westminster. Then she became a Research assistant (Nutrition and Exercise Science) at the University of Westminster, London. She did her PhD (Sports Nutrition) at the University of Westminster. Part-time lecturer (Nutrition and Exercise Science) at the same University. She also became a visiting Lecturer at the European School of Osteopathy. For a while she dedicated her knowledge on special needs Teacher at Swanlea Secondary School in London. Since 2005 until now she is a Lecturer in Nutrition and Exercise Science & a PGCert in Higher Education at the University of Westminster, London.

Ihab DR. IHAB TEWFIK
Ihab Tewfik is the Course Leader for BSc Honours Human Nutrition. Besides his biochemistry background, Ihab holds Master and Doctorate in Public Health, Nutrition department, University of Alexandria in addition to PhD from London South Bank University. As Registered Practitioner in Higher Education – UK, Dr Tewfik has 16 years experience teaching Public Health Nutrition and related subjects in a number of academic institutions. Ihab has carried out 11 research projects for UNICEF-UN in aspects of public health nutrition & food safety and has published a number of publications in refereed journals and international conferences. He has worked as international consultant for BC and various Ministries of Health in the Middle East for more than 10 years.

Lisa DR. ALLIZON DRAPER
She is a reader in Public Health Nutrition at the University of Westminster. She also works for public sector organizations including the UK Department for International Development (DfID), World Health Organization(WHO), American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA). She was a member of the project management panel that oversaw the FSA’s large 2007 – 2009 study on consumer understanding of front-of-pack food labels that underpins current UK policy. From 2009-2010 she also joined the FSA Advisory Group for their review of reviews to examine the effectiveness of dietary interventions and on the GAIN (Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition). Currently she is a member of the FSA’s Social Science Research Committee, one of the UK Government’s Scientific Advisory Committees.

Amanda-M AMANDA MOORE
Public Health Nutritionist with 13 years experience in Women’s Health. She is also a member of the Guild of Health Writers. Trustee for Women’s Health Charity – NAPS (National Association for Premenstrual Syndrome), Director of Women’s Nutrition Centre, London. She also has a 12 years of industry and advertising career (Shell, Ogilvy & Mather).Her research methodologies include survey design and analysis, qualitative evaluation, dietary assessment, dietary intervention trials.
Nowadays collaborating with King’s College London, Dept Nutrition & Dietetics, School of Medicine; Queen Mary University of London, Women’s Health Research Unit, Blizzard Institute.

Stefania
STEFANIA COMEGNA
In 2000 obtained her Degree on “Dietetics” and coordinated the project entitled: “Macro and micronutrients in astronauts’ diet” at University G. D’Annunzio in Chieti. University “Tor Vergata” she finished her MSc. on “Science of Human Nutrition”. In subsequent years, frequented the course in “Artificial Nutrition” at the University of Siena. At the University of Westminster she finished her second MSc. on “International Public Health Nutrition”. Currently working at numerous projects in nutrition area, such as Health Living Program American Express.
